The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Martin County Parks -- Recreation Department and Mulligan's Beach House invite kids, parents and pets to Vibin' in the Park from 3 to 8 p.m. Aug. 30 at Indian RiverSide Park.
They're man's best friends, but apparently not in times of financial stress, as hundreds of people in Australia are abandoning their pet dogs and cats, often because they cost too much.
